The Case:This is where most of your looks come from, you get to choose out of Black and White cases, you are safe to select any case and motherboard, as we will adjust the motherboard model slightly to fit the case if it's incompatible. |
The CPU (Processor):Intel CPU's have come a long way in recent years, the i3 13100F and i5 14400F are more powerful than the older i7 7700 and i9 7900X. For this reason, for most games the i3 and i5 are more than enough, especially if your monitor is 1080p instead of higher resolutions such as 1440p or 4K. |
The Motherboard:The motherboard ties everything together, for Intel computers, if you choose a CPU with a K (such as the i5 13600KF) you should pair it with a Z690 or Z790 (The K means it can overclock, so does the Z). If your CPU does not have a K, any B760 motherboard is perfect.Motherboards are always reliable brands: ASUS/MSI/Asrock/Gigabyte etc. To see the difference in colours Click Here! |
The Cooler:For ideas, Click here! For Intel builds that include an i3 to i5 processor, the stock coolers (Free option) are plenty to cool them down. However, once you move into the i7 and i9 CPU’s (Similarly, AMD Ryzen 7 and 9), you’ll need liquid cooling. The AIO’s (All-in-one, Liquid coolers) you can choose from range from 240mm to 360mm. Most cases fit 240mm AIO’s no problem, larger cases can fit a 360mm, a quick Google search on the case will let you know what support it has for cooling. |
The GPU (Graphics Card):The Graphics Card is very important for gaming and rendering. For more FPS, spend as much of your budget as you can on the GPU. For easy to run games such as Fortnite, Minecraft, Valorant, any of the lower tier graphics cards under $600 are perfect. For harder to run games such as Battlefield, COD etc, you’ll want something around $600 to $1500+ depending on how high you want to push up the in-game graphics. YouTube is the best place to find out what FPS you can get on a certain graphics card. (Remember to put your monitor resolution into the Youtube search, for example; "Fortnite RTX 4060 1080p") |
The RAM (Memory):
Required RAM for different lifestyles:
All ram except 128GB options are RGB and controllable via software! |
The SSD AND HDD:
The SSD (Solid State Drive) is super fast storage that your Operating System (Windows 10/11) lives on. Your favourite games/apps should be able to fit on your SSD too. This will help them load super fast. The HDD (Hard Disk Drive) is much slower storage, but is cheaper to add a lot of it. Good for storing games, photos, videos etc. A HDD is not required and can be added later, I usually recommend starting with a 500-1TB SSD (1TB = 1000GB). And no hard drive. |
The PSU:
For graphics cards under the $600 mark, a 500W Power Supply is plenty. Between $600 and $1500 a 650-750w is what I’d recommend. Once you start getting into the $1500+ graphics cards we recommend an 850W or above. We have outlined common Graphics cards in the PSU section, so you can see what wattage we recommend for those cards. |
Networking:For gaming computers, I always recommend running an Ethernet cable, if you cannot, no stress, these custom rigs can come with WIFI. And it can do both 2.4GHZ and 5GHZ. So if you have NBN, it will take full advantage. Bluetooth is an optional extra, however most gaming devices these days use a dongle that comes with the device. |
Fan Pack + Cable Kit + Backplate: For ideas,

Fans keep your computer cool. They also drastically improve the look of a system. We recommend the Lakes Custom Computers pack of RGB Fans, these are cheap and effective, they also come with a remote to change the colour and mode. For higher-end systems, we recommend the Lian Li Uni Fans as they are clean and come in black and white. Cable kits come in many colours and replace the main visible cables, great for colour theming your rig. The backplate covers the usually boring top-side of graphics cards, and adds some more RGB, however you are advertising for us, as our logo is on it, thank you in advance! |
